Hillside School, Kettle & Stony Point


	The Developmental Reading Assessment (D.R.A.) is used with all students in the school. It helps teachers and students choose 'just right' reading materials, so they can learn to read smoothly and understand what they read. It also shows teachers what skills students have already learned and which ones need to be worked on next. When very focussed teaching and learning happens every day, students can make progress more quickly.
